I finished a jury trial on November 21, 2019. My client was charged with violating section 273.5 of the Penal Code, which is inflicting a corporal injury on a spouse. It involved domestic violence. After 5 days of trial, I successfully argued that my client acted in self defense and in defense of her home. 7 jurors voted NOT GUILTY and 5 jurors voted guilty. The prosecution will be DISMISSING the case!
